Directions to the beautiful university of Marburg:

There are plenty of ways to come to Marburg:
  • by plane (fly in to: Frankfurt (Main) Airport):
    The best way to get from Frankfurt Airport to Marburg is by train:
    Go to "Frankfurt(M) Flughafen Regionalbahnhof" (Regional Trains) at Terminal 1, Level 0 (terminal map).
    Trains run quite frequently between Frankfurt Airport and Marburg, that is, more than once per hour (schedules). The trip by train takes you 1:16 alternatively 1:51 min, depending the connection you will get. The fare (one way) is about 20 EUR. Please hold your ticket to turn in for reimbursement.
  • by train (to: Marburg (Lahn) Main Station):

How to get from Marburg (Lahn) Main Station to your Hotel (Sorat Hotel):
  • by taxi:
    You will find a taxi station left hand side to the exit of the train station.
  • by bus:
    Cross the traffic lights and take the bus 1, 3, 6 or C towards Marburg Centre. They run more than every 5 minutes. Buy a ticket (Einzelfahrkarte) at the bus driver. The fare is 1.30€. Get out at the stop "Rudolphsplatz". The stop is just in opposite of the Sorat Hotel. The trip from the station to the hostel takes about 5 min.

Note: If you're coming by car, the easiest way might be to park your car in the Sorat-Hotel-Garage. All locations are within walking distance.
