The Symposium and the workshops will be situated in
the "Hörsaalgebäude" of
the Philipps-University Marburg, close to the historical centre of Marburg. Closeby,
we can take lunch at "Mensa",
where special reservations can be taken (for price see fees or registration)
On Thurseday evening (13 Oct.) the Evoltree participants will meet for
a social event in the historical cellar of the "Deutsches
Haus", close to the Elisabeth Kirche.
There are plenty of ways to come to Marburg:
- by plane: fly in to Frankfurt (Main) Airport:
The best way to get from Frankfurt Airport to Marburg is by train:
Go to "Frankfurt(M) Flughafen Regionalbahnhof" (Regional Trains) at Terminal 1, Level 0 (terminal map). Tickets alvailable at "Reisezentrum". The fare (one way) is about 20 EUR.
At Frankfurt Airport take S-Bahn to Frankfurt Main Station. Trains run
quite frequently between Frankfurt Main Station and Marburg (schedules).
The trip by train takes about one hour, depending on the connection you
will get.

From Main Station you can take taxi or busses. For the busstop leave the main station through the main gate and cross the street. Take line 1, 3, 6, 7, C to the centre of town. To reach the Hörsaalgebäude (Biegenstrasse), exit at busstop "Rudolphsplatz" .
- and by car: Coming from the south via Frankfurt, Giessen, or from the north via Kassel, you will reach Marburg on B3a. Take exit "Marburg Mitte" and continue to Hörsaalgebäude
via Rudolphs Platz and Biegenstrasse (as shown by the green arrows
on the roadmap ). Coming from the north, alternatively, you can leave B3a at exit "Bahnhofstrasse" and continue to Hörsaalgebäude via Bahnhofstrasse, Elisabethstrasse, Deutschhausstrasse and Biegenstrasse (roadmap ) .
